HSE is the abbreviation of words health, safety and environment respectively.

HSE management refers to health ,safety and environment integrated management system. In light of actual situation of China and Sinopec Group , work safety is the key element followed by environmental protection. Hence, top priority is given to safety in HSE management system of Sinopec Group, namely, safety, environment and health integrated management.

Safety means production activities proceed very smoothly on condition of no personal injury or death and no damage or loss to enterprise’s property through eradicating any hidden peril beforehand. Environment means the circumstance, objects or conditions by which mankind is surrounded, it is the complex of natural factors and ecological community , such as climatic and biotic., the aggregate of social and cultural conditions that influence the life of an individual or community . Health means one is free from any disease and keeps in high spirit. Due to the fact that safety, environment and health have deep interaction with each other during actual production activities, they are integrated into a management system called HSE management system.

HSE Policy: establish a sound HSE management system with full participation of people at all level in a bid to continuously improve the HSE management performance, perform its duty according to law and put prevention first in pursuit of zero accident, zero injury and zero pollution within maximum limits.

——Constantly perform potential risk appraisal and environment impact assessment, and systematically control hidden peril and influence on environment to effectively prevent any accident .

——Implement clean production and strive to improve the environment of production area and its surrounding area.

——Define HSE responsibility for each and enhance their HSE awareness by way of adopting scientific and effective training approach.

——Provide any necessary manpower, material and financial support to improve employees’working condition and environment.

——Openly publish HSE performance on a regular basis and pay close attention to the demands of the public , meanwhile, meet their reasonable requirements with regard to HSE.
