years
since
Sinopec
Zhenhai
Refining
&
Chemical
Co.
(ZRCC)
was
established
in
1975.
Thirty-five
years
may
just
be
a
blink
in
the
long
course
of
history,
yet
for
ZRCC,
the
past
thirty-five
years
has
been
extraordinary
as
it
is
thirty-five
years
of
tireless
persistence,
tremendous
endeavor,
thriving
vitality,
and
rapid
rise.

Over
the
past
thirty-five
years,
starting
from
nothing
in
a
drowsy
stretch
of
cotton
field
on
the
tidal
flat,
ZRCC
has
undergone
awe-inspiring
changes
by
turning
the
barren
tidal
flat
into
a
dynamic
industrial
base,
sowing
seeds
of
hope
and
reaping
the
fruit
of
industrious
labor.
All
of
these
are
attributed
to
the
sound
policy
atmosphere
given
by
our
government,
to
the
correct
leadership
and
great
concern
shown
by

to
the

refineries
category
and
ranks
17th
among
the
world
largest
refineries,
meanwhile,
ZRCC
has
become
the
one
with
largest
refining
scale
and
enjoying
leading
position
in
earning
power
and
competitive
ability
in
China.
In
Nov.
2006,
the
commencement
of
1
million
tpa
Ethylene
Project
marks
ZRCC’s
solid
step
forward
to
build
itself
into
world-class,
high-tech
and
integrated
refining
and
chemical
enterprise.

Starting
from
the
new
level
and
earnestly
following
the
philosophy
of
“scientific
development”,
ZRCC
will
march
toward
the
ambitious
goal
of
building
ZRCC
into
a
world-class
model
corporation
integrating
refining
with
chemical,
which
is
put
forward
by
Sinopec
CPC
Committee.
In
the
mean
time
of
upgrading
its
